Gwyneth Paltrow revealed that she was unaware about the existence of the Hawkeye series.

Academy Award-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow has been part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since the beginning. She made her debut in the franchise in Jon Favreau’s Iron Man in 2008 as Pepper Potts. In total, she appeared in seven films in the MCU, including Iron Man 2, The Avengers, Iron Man 3, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

Interestingly enough, despite her role in several entries in the MCU, Gwyneth Paltrow is often unaware which film is which. Also, beyond the films she’s involved with, she seems unaware of the ongoing projects within the franchises. In the case for her Avengers co-star Jeremy Renner’s standalone event series Hawkeye, it’s all news to her.

On her official Instagram story, Gwyneth Paltrow responded to a follower’s question about whether or not she’s catching up with Hawkeye on Disney Plus, to which she replied with the following:

Beyond her work as an actress, whether it’d be in the MCU or other films, Gwyneth Paltrow is a very busy individual. She is a prominent businesswoman that owns Goop, a lifestyle and wellness company. She also has authored numerous cookbooks. It’s not that surprising that she’s not as invested in the ongoing franchise, given her busy schedule on other endeavors. Perhaps she will give Hawkeye a shot sometime in the future.

Here is the synopsis for Hawkeye:

Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.

Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Tony Dalton, Fra Free, Brian d’Arcy James, Aleks Paunovic, Piotr Adamczyk, Linda Cardellini, Simon Callow, Vera Farmiga and Alaqua Cox. Florence Pugh is expected to return in her Black Widow role.

The first two episodes of Hawkeye are now available to stream on Disney Plus, with new episodes dropping on Wednesdays. A brand new clip and poster for Morbius starring Jared Leto officially dropped during Brazil CCXP 2021.

Sony Pictures had a pretty exciting presentation during Brazil CCXP 2021. We got our first official look at Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) along with an exciting panel for Spider-Man: No Way Home featuring three of the film’s primary antagonists. Now, we got some interesting new glimpses at Morbius, starring Jared Leto in the titular role.

A brand new clip from the upcoming film showcases Jared Leto’s Dr. Michael Morbius receiving treatment. Eventually, this leads to his transformation as he breaks out into action. You can check out the new clip from the film down below:

A brand new poster of Jared Leto’s Morbius also dropped, with a design pretty similar to the original poster for Tom Hardy’s Venom in 2018:

One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar® winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero, Michael Morbius. Directed Daniel Espinosa from a script written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, the film stars Jared Leto as the lead anti-hero, Adria Arjona, Matt Smith, Jared Harris, and Tyrese Gibson. Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach are producing the project with Lucas Foster, while Palak Patel will oversee for Sony.

A trailer has been released for the new HBO Max animated series “Santa Inc.” which hails from Seth Rogen and Sarah Silverman, and premieres on the service on December 2nd.

The story follows intrepid elf Candy Smalls (Silverman) who will do anything to be named as the first female Santa – even if she has to fight like a man to get it.

Rogen plays Claus himself in the series which also stars Leslie Grossman, Gabourey Sidibe, Craig Robinson, Nicholas Braun, Maria Bamford, and Joel Kim Booster. Harry Chaskin directs.

Coming long after a teaser trailer was first released back in February 2020, Paramount Animation & WWE Studios have released a new trailer for their animated feature “Rumble” which will finally arrive via the Paramount+ service on December 15th.

Set in a world where monster wrestling is a global sport and monsters are superstar athletes, teenage Winnie seeks to follow in her father’s footsteps by coaching a lovable underdog giant monster into a champion wrestler.

Will Arnett, Terry Crews, Geraldine Viswanathan, Joe Anoa’i, Tony Danza, Becky Lynch, Susan Kelechi Watson, Stephen A. Smith, Jimmy Tatro, Ben Schwartz and Michael Buffer lend their voices to the project.

Its official, Remedy Entertainment has announced a direct “Alan Wake” sequel which will be coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2023.

The game will be more of a survival horror title than the action-horror title both its predecessor and same universe-set “Control” was. Wake himself has undergone a redesign to look more like Jake Gyllenhaal and Bradley Cooper’s love child on a bad day. Remedy’s Sam Lake says:

“This is going to be Remedy’s first-ever survival horror game, our take on the genre. The first game had horror elements to it but it was an action game, and we feel that this is the perfect genre to bring together the story and gameplay closer than ever before, because the story – horror story – is at the very heart of this and it’s a psychological, layered, deep mystery to dive into.”

Remedy will reveal more about the game in the Summer of next year ahead of its 2023 release.
