Cooper Kupp Had the Greatest NFL WR Season Ever
The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 to win Super Bowl LVI, backed by strong performances from Aaron Donald and Super Bowl MVP, Cooper Kupp who ultimately cemented the greatest WR season ever. The Rams got redemption from their heartbreaking loss to the New England Patriots in the 2019 Super Bowl and won their first Super Bowl Championship in Los Angeles, doing so at home with the game taking place in LA.
As was the case all season, Cooper Kupp lit up the scoresheet, cashing in 2 TD’s in an 8 catch, 92-yard performance. Ultimately, Kupp ended the 2021-22 campaign with a record 2,425 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns (t-2nd most ever), after winning the wide receiver Triple Crown in the regular season to cap off the best single season by any WR in NFL history.
This season Cooper Kupp:
– Won the receiving triple crown
– Won Offensive Player of the Year
– Won Super Bowl MVP
Jerry Rice is the only WR in NFL history to do all of those things in an entire career. Kupp did that in a single season. pic.twitter.com/l7g1p3Un5D

MAIN TAKEAWAY
COOPER KUPP HAD THE GREATEST NFL WR SEASON EVER
COLORS KEY | FULL RAMS OUTLOOK
Cooper Kupp dominated NFL defenses right from the get go this season, winning the wide receiver Triple Crown, the Offensive Player of the Year, and now Super Bowl MVP. His impressive season is incomparable to anything ever seen before as he rewrote history books all season long. Jerry Rice is still the all-time GOAT at the position but even he doesn’t have a single season with this much greatness.
Culminating in being the Super Bowl MVP, Kupp’s season will be remembered by NFL and Rams fans for an incredibly long time with records that might not be broken for decades, if not longer. No other player has dominated the way he did throughout an entire season and he deserved every accolade he was given. Kupp and quarterback Matthew Stafford have a connection unlike any other that’ll be fun to watch in LA the next few years.
